Galley starboard

Starboard side of the galley. This is the location of the stove. I selected a Force 10, three burner with oven and broiler. I selected the gimbaled version, not so that it could swing, but it has a section of the bottom removed to allow it to swing and this helps to get it closer to the hull sides. Although I could get it close to the hull, it still sticks out about 2 inches into the galley. Hey, life is a compromise.

The cabinet on the right of the stove is for utensils, supplies, etc. There are 3 good size cubbies and one drawer. Above the drawer, the counter top is hinged and in the shallow compartment is a utensil tray.

The cabinet face is made from ¼ ply and all the cubby bottoms are 1/8 ply for reduced weight.

The propane locker is directly behind the stove so there is no long propane hose run. A propane control panel is just above the counter top and sniffers are behind the stove and under the floors in front of the stove.
